Community Events & Workshops

The Peace Education Center invites community members to connect for learning, support, and spiritual sustenance.

SPECIAL EXHIBIT: The PECHV will be hosting a special traveling exhibit from Librarians and Archivists with Palestine, open to the public on Saturday, May 18th, 12:00-3:00pm. This will be an in-person exhibit of a collection of art, zines, books, and more. Come by our space at 430 Main St, Rosendale—and bring your friends & neighbors! This exhibit is an invitation for learning and dialogue, with rich resources that are not often available to the public. Join us!

Cultivating Peace in Ourselves

These monthly workshops, facilitated by PECHV co-director Kate Walters, bring practices of reconciliation and peace-building to our own bodies. The sessions will include poetry, writing, and guided physical practices of breathwork and meditation. All are welcome; no previous experience is expected. Note: our group will be holding space together, but this workshop is not a dialogue—come prepared to turn inwards!

Number of participants is very limited, so please sign up early to secure a spot in our small group.

Monthly Learning Kit Subscription

Though our programming is based in the Hudson Valley, we are also building a virtual community of peace-builders on Patreon. Members will receive monthly learning kits from the PECHV, curated by our team. If you don’t live in the Hudson Valley—or if you’re looking for a virtual way to support our work and learn more about peace education—consider joining us!

Activist Circle

Structured support for activists starting later this year—please check back for dates and times.
